“Ekklesia” is the Greek word for “church” and describes our non-denominational campus fellowship serving students at Truman, MACC, and A.T. Still Medical & Dental Schools.  Perhaps you recognize a form of the word in the Old Testament book Ecclesiastes or “the preacher.”  The preacher speaks to the church!  You can also talk about “ecclesiastical” or “church” matters.  Our campus ministry is overseen by the Kirksville Church of Christ on Pfeiffer Ave.

One of our main events occurs March 23-25 as former atheist and now Christian apologist and scientist John Clayton returns to campus with a lectureship on God’s existence.  We show the movie “The Case for Christ” at Take Root Café on Sat. Mar. 24 and begin a small group study at the church on Wed. Mar. 28.

Many events are also scheduled at the church building, 110 Pfeiffer Ave., which is located 1/2 mile east of HyVee and next to Leisure World Skating & Bowling.  For transportation to church services call Dan Green 816-695-5201 or the church office 660-627-4003.
